Some Random Stuff

I am not sure if all the T.G.I. Friday's are changing their look, but the Fridays in Monroeville got a whole new look and when I drove by the other day I saw that they were having an auction of all the stuff that was on the walls. I can't believe they are getting rid of all of that stuff. That was a major part of the appeal of Fridays....Anyway, the auction was the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I thought it might be fun for Gretel, Terry, Tim and I to go. Unfortunately I had no idea they were going to hold the auction outside. It was FREEZING, but we stuck around and ended up having a fun time. This was my first auction and it was pretty cool. Below are pictures of what we got. They were auctioning off a lot of the Tiffany style lamps that hung over the tables and we got this one. I love it. I am really loving all things 'birds' right now so I was so excited we got this. The other thing we got was this dye holder. I thought it would be pretty cool to set somewhere and put little knick knacks in.

This is a little project I did after seeing it in a magazine. I can't remember what magazine it was but thought it was a pretty cool idea. I got the frame at a yard sale and just bought some foam core and fabric. Tim actually put the whole thing together. He is so helpful like that. :) I love it and will probably be making more. Let me know if you want one! ;)

And these are two of my current favorite necklaces adorning my jewelry frame. The lipstick is by Paul Frank, who of course, is my most favorite EVER. I don't really ever wear it because I guess I am not quite sure what to wear it with or feel that I am that secure with my fashion sense....haha. But I just love having it cause I love Paul Frank. The camera I just found recently at Forever 21 and I wear this one all the time....So cool....

Wii would like to play....

So I got Timmy a Wii for his birthday (I know, I am a totally awesome wife ;)) and what fun it has been. We might be a little obsessed. Finding this thing was INSANE. I had no idea how hard Wii's were to find. Pretty much every store I went in I would be laughed at when asking if they had a Wii. So to make a long story short, I called about 20 different places and finally Found a Wal-mart that had two left. The Wal-Mart in Indiana was the magical place and unfortunately would not hold it for me because I was the 5th person who called since only having 2 left. So I drove the hour and 15 minutes and obtained the last one! Sweet Victory!! ANYWAY, now Tim and I like to waste our free time playing video games. I highly recommend it :)

Hello everyone! Thanks for checking out my first post! I decided to start a blog because I have been keeping a journal (I like to think of them as journals, not diarys because it sounds more mature and sophisticated :) ) since I was in middle school. I thought I would give the online blogging a try because it is basically keeping a journal that I can add photos and my current 'art' to that I can share with the world! So here it is, my first post.
